A Safety Analysis Method for Control Software in Coordination with FMEA and FTA

In this study, we proposed a method to improve the safety level of control software (CSW) by managing CSW’s design information and analysis results, combining failure mode effects (FMEA) fault tree (FTA). Here, CSW is developed using structured methodology. upper stage development process, as input preliminary (data flow diagrams (DFDs) (CFDs)), causes undesirable events are clarified FMEA, countermeasures reflected in information. lower inputs detailed (DFDs CFDs level) programs, specific event FTA, specifications programs.
